This footage was all shot on location at LA Media!
The shots here are the result of a test day with the Canon 5d and all the peripheral kit that we have to support it – follow focus, handheld rig with mounted monitor, dolly, jib and steadicam. We were looking to introduce as much movement into the shots as possible – quite an innovative approach to shooting with this camera. The follow focus and cage rig really step up what you can achieve which is truly exciting, and this along with the fantastic depth of field delivers beautiful cinematic images.
And check out our lucky koi carp that live in the pond and feature in some of the shots. Sweet!
Amazing. I was particularly impressed by the shot as you walk back into the house and how well the camera copes with the changing light conditions. But all of it looks good really. Very exciting.
