David Beckham - Make Your Own Rules

David Beckham - Make Your Own Rules is a high energy promotional film that was made for the launch of a new whisky offering called Clubman from Haig Club.  It was directed by Nima Nourizadeh a talented and successful director of music videos and commercials in London.

If you blink during the first three seconds of this film you will totally miss the contribution made by the LA Media drone team.

For two days the drone team went out into the wilds of Scotland with no one from the production to support or guide the shots. They travelled and drone filmed at random for 12 hours each day with the hope that at least one of their offerings might fit the bill. At the end of the second day, hours of footage were then sent to London, all went silent and we heard no more.

It was only on release of the film that we saw the result of our work.

Our shots are the very first two in the film and while they are our only shots in the film the drone team were over the moon that in such a fast paced, cosmopolitan promotion we managed to even get that.

We didn't meet David Beckham, we didn't get a taster of the new whisky and we never met the director but it's still a great film to have been part of.
